Terms of Service

Resonate (“we”, “our”) is a marketplace connecting independent artists, songwriters and producers. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Resonate is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We’ll do our best to give you reasonable warning before any change that materially affects you.

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Resonate.

You retain all ownership of the demos, profile content, messages and other material you upload. You grant Resonate a limited license to host and display that content as required to operate the service.

You must have the rights to anything you upload. Don’t upload other people’s music, lyrics, or likenesses without permission.

Don’t use Resonate to:

• Harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone
• Send spam, bulk solicitations, or unsolicited promotional inquiries
• Upload malware, phishing links, or sexually explicit material involving minors
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

While we’re in beta, Resonate is free for both artists and producers. Any financial arrangements between you and another user (advances, work-for-hire, royalties) are entirely between the two of you. We are not a party to those agreements.

Resonate is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We don’t guarantee that producers will accept your inquiry, that any collaboration will be successful, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resonate’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or (b) USD 100.

We’ll post any changes to these terms on this page and notify active users by email when changes are material. Continued use of Resonate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
